Our Lactation Peer Consultants help moms achieve their breastfeeding goals by providing breastfeeding resources, information, tools and supplies, providing one-on-one support for pregnant and breastfeeding moms, offering breastfeeding classes, and helping them continue breastfeeding after returning to breastfeeding. at work or school, provide breastfeeding supplies and develop relationships. Mothers who eat only WIC also receive additional food benefits. Our Peer Counselors and other WIC support staff are proud to be a part of a successful breastfeeding journey so that mothers and babies can reap the full health benefits of breastfeeding.
